What we do on your aircraft

Cabin connectivity

The right system, not just a price

Most operators come to us with a quote for one system. The best fit depends on where you fly, who is on board and what your aircraft can actually carry.

We have worked with multiple vendors on connectivity installs and quotes. Our job is to make sure you are not sold something that cannot be delivered: a system that isn't approved for your aircraft, a coverage map that doesn't match your routes, or a price that leaves out the install, the downtime or the data plan.

Approvals, coverage, performance and pricing change often. We confirm current data for your specific aircraft, serial number and routes before we recommend anything.

What the review covers

  • Mission call: routes, cabin size, passengers, crew and EFB needs
  • Approvals for your type and serial: STC, antenna location, radome and structural work
  • Weight, power and equipment-bay impact
  • Installer capability, slot availability and downtime, and whether the install can ride along with your next inspection
  • Up to three installer quotes reviewed line by line
  • Three-year cost of ownership, including data plan terms, caps and minimum contract length
  • Written recommendation and a 30-day follow-up call

How it is delivered

  • Delivered remotely, usually within 5 business days of receiving your quotes and aircraft details
  • Need someone on the floor during the install? Install oversight is available at our day rate plus expenses at cost

  • Lodging near the facility, at actual cost
  • Rental car and fuel, or personal vehicle at the IRS business mileage rate
  • Meals and incidentals at the GSA per diem rate for the location

For comparison, a major business-jet manufacturer's own published rate letter listed field maintenance support at $1,495 per day as far back as 2019, before travel, and OEM rate letters commonly add a handling percentage to travel and pass-through costs. We don't.

Expense estimates assume a $160 hotel, a $70 per day rental car and standard federal per diem. One airworthy discrepancy correctly assigned to the seller, one overbilled finding caught, or one engine program status confirmed in writing is usually worth many times the fee.

Questions

FAQ

Do you perform or sign off the maintenance?

No. We act as your technical advisor. The repair station performs and certifies the work; we watch it, verify it, and protect your interest. That independence is the point.

Why pay for connectivity advice when installers quote for free?

An installer's quote is built around the system they sell and install. We have worked with multiple vendors on installs and quotes, and we look at every option against your aircraft, your routes and your budget. One wrong choice can mean a system that isn't approved for your serial number, coverage that doesn't match where you fly, or a data plan that costs more than the hardware. Getting it right the first time is worth far more than the review.

Which aircraft do you cover?

Any make and model of business jet or turboprop, from any manufacturer, light jet to large-cabin, with any engine or APU manufacturer and any avionics suite. Every aircraft is inspected and reviewed against its own maintenance manual, inspection program, type certificate data sheet and service documents, whether it flies under Part 91 or Part 135 or on a foreign registry.

Where do you travel?

Anywhere the aircraft is, in the U.S. or abroad. We're based in coastal Georgia, so Southeast jobs keep travel costs low.

What if the job takes longer than the estimate?

Extra days are billed at the same rate, and we flag a likely overrun in the daily status report before it happens, so you can decide.

Should I book the survey or a full PPI?

The survey is a quick, records-based look before you sign an LOI or fly across the world. No panels come off. If the aircraft is worth pursuing, the survey becomes the starting point for the PPI workscope.

Can I share your report?

Yes, with your broker, attorney, lender and insurer. Reports reflect the records provided and the areas inspected on the report date, and they don't guarantee the aircraft's condition or value.
